This set goes from the change from the 1st edition logo tag (early 80's)
to the change that happened at WSC 1985. The change at WSC 1985 (change to set 4)
was to change the one day tag from "One Day At A Time" to "Just For Today"
Set 3 starts off with a PINK 1 day tag and a WHITE 30 day tag, transitions
to an ORANGE 30 day tag and the one day tag then becomes WHITE.
I understand this transition took place because the men didn't like (see Bob Stone's My Years with Narcotics Anonymous) the pink keytag for one day and the international sign for surrender is white, so make the one day tag white.

This set is white, orange, green, red, blue, yellow and moonglow.
I think it's circa 3rd edition thru 3rd edition revised.
Note the (C) Copyright in the lower right hand corner of the logo
and the faux rope edge.
I've had other denominations of the same defect.
Uncommonly good.

This set is white, orange, green, red, blue, yellow and moonglow.
I never noticed the change at first, but the difference is the
(R) registered symbol in place of the (C) Copyright in the lower
right hand corner of the logo- still has the faux rope edge.
I think this is circa 4th edition because that's when we started
having the (R) on the symbol.
Side note - we have the (R) on the tags not the (C) because it's the
LOGO we have registered. It's more legally sound than copyrighting
the LOGO / Keytag, as it's not actually literature technically but a fob

Georgia Chip set

6 chips in all. Georgia and many areas in the southeast used these chips prior to WSO having the Chips in set 1. Perhaps WSO started having chips because of these chips. I have an order form from Piedmont Area 1979.
White was newcomer, orange 30 days, there was no 60 day chip, red 90 days,
yellow was 6months, green 9 months, blue 1year.
They did produce a special birthday chip in the blue with the
name, time, and birthday date. These were made by a outside company
that also made merchandise for AA and other organizations.
Some groups or areas in North & South Carolina used these from as early as Nov. 1981 until Sept 1987, added the moonglow 1year in Feb. 1987, & then voted to used the WSO chips in Sept.

Seems like these were used in the Northwest, but I have begun to expect that they were sold by the recovery shops and there was an import company that made these with the NA logo, AA logo, CMA logo, OA logo, etc etc and We Care Logo on the obverse. *IF* the shop was filling an order for a group, but was unable to fill a denomination, they would substitute with "WE Care" chips

Hot Press Chip Spanish set
When?
7 chips in all. I bought these on ebay from an enterprising fellow. I think the company that was making these and the chips above got spanked by WSO attorneys to stop using our logo.
Think these could be considered "outside enterprise" or renegade.
